The new tangle I discovered this week for
Suzy Mosh' challenge is
Henna Drum. A lovely tangle that soon appeared on my tile. But then... I didn't know what to put next to it! I ended up with a lot of Tipple, some Striping and a bit of Paisley. Looks a bit busy to me, but it was nice to create ;-)
Wonderful tile! I really love Henna Drum and it was one of the first patterns I tangled when starting zentangle, because I like flowers so much :-)
ReplyDeleteThe contrast of your tile is great with this bit stripes and the small tipple in the back. Really nice!
Leuk patroontje hè? Ik kon het al langer. Mooie combinatie heb je gemaakt, echt artistiek!
ReplyDeleteHenna Drum was also new to me. I like your tile.
ReplyDeleteI like this tile! I haven't used Henna Drum before...gotta try it out. Thanks for being part of the challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteHenna drum and paisley are perfect together. You conquered the "busy-ness" by shading the tipples so deeply, they go into the background very nicely. And the striping is the perfect balance, with its high contrast and boldness. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI like the "flower" you made at the top, and your shiny stripes are a very nice "boom" of excitement. You made your Henna Drums with a lovely delicacy of hand. As for all the "tipple" or " "Perfs" or "Orbs" or "Circles", There may be a lot of them but if you made some into "Pearls", and some into "Bubbles" in strategic places, well who knows???
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tile - so beautifully done!
