This week,
Laura challenges us to tangle on something unexpected, something you wouldn't normally tangle on. She used an old map, and had the highways as a string. Nice, I would have liked to use an old map as well, but I didn't want to copy Laura's idea ;-)
So, being Dutch and being used to see cows (black and white!) In the meadows, I chose to tangle on a postcard with a cow on it, after I had cut it in the right size:
When I started tangling, I noticed the card was quite smooth, it had a very tiny plastified layer. This made tangling on it pretty hard, because the ink disappeared sometimes and I couldn't really get grip on the paper.
But hey: that's what a challenge is all about: challenges! :-)
Oh dit is leuk.... en lekker Hollands :)
ReplyDeleteThat is one fully tangled cow. I love the way you have reversed black and white on the patches. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute!!! It made me laugh. (I love cows!) Excellent choice!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty! You picked a great picture and used great tangles to compliment it. Sarah
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud when I saw this over at Instagram. I could imagine some of those poor people thinking you really grabbed a cow and started drawing on her. What fun!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeletebest lookin cow in the land ;-)
ReplyDeleteWat een ontzettend leuk idee en, ondanks het lastige papier, mooi gelukt! Leuk om al deze dingen die we verzonnen hebben te zien.

ReplyDeleteExcellent and very unique. I haven't come across anyone else who tangled on a cow yet. ;-) I'm actually a pretty big fan of cows. My college's mascot is a purple cow----of all things.
