Alphabet challenge #64: R-V-I

Diane and Carolien challenge us this week to create a tile with patterns starting with the letters R, V and I. My choices: Reticulated, Vega and Ingwi and together they look like this:

Diva's challenge #273

What to do wit this week's Diva challenge... It took me some time to go back into my books with old tiles, to find one that I would like to remix.

In the end, I found a tile I made in September 2014. This was the old tile (with my old signature ;-) ):

And this is my Remix, I started all over again to do it just a bit differently, and to add Florz to Quib and ING :-)

Joey's challenge #119

This week Joey drew us some sort of cat's eye string and likes us to fill it with Gnarly and whatever pattern(s) we like. I decided to keep it simple and just put some Crescent Moon in the pupil and make a Gnarly eye around it.

I had never done Gnarly before, but I loved it!

Square One: Merryweather

Facebook's group Square One asks us to focus on Merryweather. I'm not sure if I've done this one before, but I like it!

It's a String Thing #150

Congratulations Adele, with 150 challenges you've provided for us tanglers :-) Thank you!

This week, we're tangling in a special Strin that Adele developed for the 150th and we're filling it with Xav, Iza, Teenos and Uncorked. This is my result:

Today, I felt like stacken. So, this happened with Paradox, Up N Down, Sevaw, Skye, Tipz and a little bit of Zedbra :-)

Alphabet challenge #62

We're tangling with the letters N, W and L for Diane and Carolien's challenge. I chose Ninja, Warts & Wobbles and Lenche. Great pattern, Anita! :-)

Diva's challenge #272

'Add red and have fun with this,' says Laura. Being obedient as always ;-)) I did so!

The tangles I used are ING (with red pearls in it), Ennies, Hollibaugh, Shons and Kaleido.

Joey's challenge #118

Joey is presenting a 'real' challenge to us: she made a circular string and asked us to use Maryhill - but not in the middle part! That's the only place where you would put Maryhill in this string, so thank you Joey ;-)

I decided to pretend there was no middle part and started to draw Maryhill. Then all of a sudden Drupe flew by and ended up in the middle part, right in front of Maryhill! Oh well, these things happen ;-)

Square One: Groovy

In Facebook's Square One group, we're focussing on the pattern Groovy. It's a quite difficult tangle to me and I hadn't done it for a long time. It's funny to discover that I like it now :-)

I put some PomX2, Hanaku and Fife around it. 

String #213

Today, I wanted to play with the new string #213, so I filled it with Yincut, Twing, Nipa and Abacus.

Lily-eyes and more

Today, I chose string #157 and filled it with Shattuck, Lacy, Dugwud and... those funny Lily-eyes :-)

Alphabet challenge #61

We're to create a tile with patterns starting with D, C and A for Diane and Carolien's challenge. Nice! I chose DL Nebula, Chainging and Ammon. Do you see them floating around too? ;-)

Joey's challenge #117

Joey made us another circular string, this time with 3 smaller circles inside. The pattern to include is Socc (new to me) and I added some Florz. Real zentangle relax-time :-)

Diva's challenge #271

Beads of Courage is an arts in medicine program in Canada that helps kids with chronic or life threatening illnesses tell the story of their medical journey.

I really support this initiative!

So, I was pleased to see Laura's challenge: BEad INSPIRED by Beads of Courage. Although I also love colours, and support the Colour Run too (read more about this at Laura's blog), I decided to keep my challenge tile in black and white. Somehow, that's my favorite zentangle modus ;-)

This week, Adele likes us to learn and play with the tangle Fengle. And so I did :-)

Joey's challenge #116

We're finished with the Roman Numeral challenges (click here to see all 15 of me in 1 picture!) and now Joey's been busy sketching 10 circular strings. Nice!

We're asked to fill this first one with Flux, and any other tangle we like to add if we want to. I'm not sure what I've added, it might be a Marasu variation. Anyway :-) it was a lovely challenge to me!

All Roman Numerals together!

We're finished with the Roman Numerals for the challenge of Joey. I thought it was a lot of fun to participate and I manged to do them all: Numeral 1 to 15. So, I put them together in 1 picture. Quite cool, don't you think?

Joey's challenge #115

We've arrived at the last Roman Numeral String, number XV. Joey likes us to fill it with Seedings, Black Eyed Peas, Chard, Corn Rowes and/ or Garlic Gloves. I decided to use them all.
