Crea-Cross #26

Crea-Cross is a nice and different kind of challenge, since it welcomes all kind if creative art around a weekly theme. Not all theme's are zentangle-proof, but this week Ilse (another one, yes ;-) ) likes us to create something with 'Dots' involved.

The patterns I chose are Tipple, Drupe, Balloya, Fishnet and Barberpole. Plenty of dots involved, don't you think? ;-)

It's a String Thing #201

Luckily Adele is continuing her challenge after reaching #200 last week ;-). So this week she drew us a channel line grid and likes us to fill it with Beebug, HekZee and Leaflet. You can see my entry here:

Joey's challenge #171

Joey guided us all the way through the zentangle alpabet, arriving at the last letter Z. Zuper, Joey! ;-)

She started with Zonked and I added Zewm and Zinger.

Laura likes us to draw Aquafleur. Nice! Because I've recently been busy with Aquafleur, I wanted to do it differently. So here you look at Aquafleur through a magnifying glass :-)

This week, we're focussing on the pattern Flez at Facebook's group Square One.

You see it flow around Keeko and on the outside there are Leaflet and Crescent Moon:

Wow, we've reached challenge number 200 at Adele's blog! Thank you so much Adele, for your continuing enthousiasm to make us tangle :-)

Here's my entry for this week, with the new tangle C-Perf. You look at a Monotangle, because this pattern has a lot of possibilities. 

Zentangle trinity

Tagh, Crescent Moon and Purk together are my zentangle trinity in this tile. They're lying on a bed of Marbaix ;-)

Joey's challenge #170

We're tangling Y-tangles for this week's challenge by Joey. She started with Yuma, which I love, and I just added Yew-Dee. Only two patterns, but it looks like a busy zentangle 'yungle' to me :-)

Square One: Strutz

Facebook's group Square One likes us to focus on Strutz. I put it on a Tessel Hill ;-)

Joey's challenge #169

We're tangling X-tangles for Joey's Finish my tile Alphabet challenge. Joey started with Xs and Orbs in the letter X. I put 4 x-patterns to it: Xav, Xyp, Xplode and Xplo-zen.

Diva challenge #320

It's the first Monday of the month, so it's time for a Use My Tangle (UMT) at Laura's blog. This time we're doing Dansk and I drew it around a heart of 'Dillo. I'm not sure if this was the right choice for pattern combination, but I like the result anyway ;-)

Square One: Showgirl

We're focussing in the tangle Showgirl at Facebook's group Square One. I quite like this pattern and put it on a bed of N'Zeppel.

It's a String Thing #198

We're sending another wave of love and support to Lily by drawing the pattern Agni, which is dedicated to her daughter who passed away recently. A lovely suggestion by Adele!

You can see Agni here top left an bottom right together with Tira and Knightsbridge.  

Diva challenge #319 & Crea-cross

Laura likes us to be inspired by whatever gives us Courage. I thought about the sun quite quickly: he (or she? ;-) ) is a great symbol to me for courage and hope. He makes me happy, makes me feel good and he shows me that, no matter how dark clouds can be, in the end there's always the sun to brighten up our days :-)

This tile perfectly fits in the Crea-cross 'Summer' challenge of my Belgian 'colleague' Ilse, so I'll post it there as well ;-)

We've already reached the letter W at Joey's challenge, time flies when you're having fun ;-)

Joey started this tile with W2 at the bottom. Above it, I drew Warped Eggs, Windmill and Widgets. 

Golden oldies part 2

They're always nice and relaxing to do: tangles that we're there from the beginning. This time I drew Crescent Moon, Huggins, Beelight, Ennies and Hollibaugh.

Crea-cross: Flower

It's been a while since I participated in Ilse's Crea-cross challenge. This week's theme (flower) is a nice one for zentangle, so I'm glad to be back! :-)

I started with the pattern Kiku and added some improvised lines and circles.
