Diva's Challenge #227

Lee Darter is this week's guest blogger at the Diva's Challenge. She asks us to create a Circus tile, using Cack, Tripoli and one more tangle, choosing between Florz, Linq and Fescu. I used the last two recently, so Florz is my third tangle.

Somehow, I like 'tidy' tiles ;-) so it was a real challenge to me how to put these three tangles in one tile. Below, you see the result. You might notice I used Florz to give my Circus Tent a roof, it's the world upside down :-)

    Hi Ilse, On looking at the tile, I didn't at first see the tent and then suddenly it all came into focus. The Tropicana makes the struts, Florz is billowing canvas and I'm just waiting for the clowns to appear and kick the balls around. I like you upside down world. I also think this is extremely well drawn.

    Hij is weer heel mooi geworden en een echt cirkus! Ik ben al blij dat ik de drie (onbekende voor mij) tangles kon gebruiken op een fatsoenlijke manier! :)

    Your "circus" tile came out really well and you definitely captured a circus vibe. I see the Cacks as the tops of the clowns' umbrellas. The clowns have to have umbrellas, right?

    This is just awesome, and the visual you gave makes it all just pop out! I am so glad you took on this challenge, your shading is wonderful and the bouncing balls are perfect!
