As you might know, normally I don't 'recycle' any of my tiles to participate in a challenge. But Jessica asks for a 'Tangled Heart' and I only drew this one a couple of days ago and called it 'Zentangle love'. It just fits perfectly in this challenge, so I'm gonna make this Baton monotangle my entry :-)
Thank you for visiting my blog! You comments brighten my day :-)
I love how you nestled this negatively spaced heart into Hollibaugh, Ilse!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile with a Heart stuck in Hollibaugh! Love the clean approach in this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful use of the positive and negative space!
ReplyDeleteVery simple and beautiful
ReplyDeleteLess is more - love it!
ReplyDeletePrachtig door zijn eenvoud!
ReplyDeleteWOW, dit is (zoals Mariët al zegt) PRACHTIG!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, it fits the subject perfectly and it looks elegant and sophisticated in its simplicity.
ReplyDeleteWonderful heart tile :-))
ReplyDeletePrachtig, dat witte schaduwhart!
ReplyDeleteI love this Ilse! I love the composition, balance of black and white, and it's simple elegance! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tile Ilse!
ReplyDeleteRemember, recycling is a virtue and this tile is perfect for the current challenge. Maybe you're omnicient. ;-) It reminds me of this quote by Walter Scott (yes, I had to Google that), "...what a tangled web we weave....."
ReplyDeleteHeel mooi is dat 'verstopte hartje" temidden van Hollibaugh, heel apart doordat je het hartje gewoon wit hebt gelaten.
ReplyDeleteGetting around late to looking at the results of this challenge. Great way to use negative space. Baton is a tangle that I do not use much as it never seems to "look right" to me. Yours turned out well.
