This weeks's challenge from the Diva is a UMT (Use My Tangle) and we're using Yuma by Tina-AKUA. Tina: I love this tangle! Thank you for sharing it with us.
I decided to combine it with Inapod (a favorite of mine as well) and Striping. Quite like the result, it's always surprising to see what's growing out of your own hands :-)
I love the sharp contrasts. Great tile.
ReplyDeleteGreat contrasts with the striping against the Yuma. The Inapod was a good choice to bring both tangles together.
ReplyDeleteI really like the contrast that you got with the different tangles this week.
ReplyDeletei always like to see your entries. to see how you used "YUMA" is very nice, thank you.
ReplyDeletegreat tile - I like your choice of accompanying patterns.
ReplyDeleteLovely Tile. Love the line work, and you've created a wonderful balance in your design. Nicely shaded.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like it grew, or is growing. There is a seedlike quality to yuma, and you've added to it with inapod. It's so organic looking. I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteWonderful tile with lovely choice of tangles! Fine contrast, too!
ReplyDeleteI like it very much. It´s an intresting combination of tangles.
ReplyDeleteMooi Ilse, Goede balans tussen de zwarte en de witte delen.
ReplyDeleteLove your Yuma tangle, very well executed. And the Striping and Inapod's boldness against the delicacy of the Yuma makes for a beautiful combination.
ReplyDeleteI loved how the Inapod echoes the shape of the Yuma, but doesn't compete. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteHet ziet er erg leuk uit met het wit/ zwarte contrast. Mooi!
ReplyDeleteLovely tile.
