It's a String Thing #197

This week's challenge by Adele didn't turn out the way I thought I would. Oh well, that's zentangle as well: always relaxing to do and (almost ;-) ) always surprising.

The tangles used are Tint, Bales and Antidots.

Joey's challenge #167

We're tangling Joey's Alphabet challenge with special attention, because we're drawing V-tangles and Joey's last name starts with a V ;-)

She started the tile with Vano (bottom right) and I added Verve, Voga and Ving.

Square One: Dreamdex

For Facebook's group Square One, we're focussing on Dreamdex (a new to me tangle). I needed some time to get the flow, but I quite like the pattern.

Here you see it with Flux and Fescu, and Paradox as the odd man out ;-)

It's a String Thing #196

We're doning a Monotangle this week for AdeAdele's challenge, with a pattern that is new to me: Plingh. I had a nice time discovering this organic looking pattern.

Diva challenge #317

Laura is giving us a different kind of challenge in the way we're to glue an image onto a tile and use this as a string.

At first I thought: this is not my cup of tea ;-) but as I let the idea whirl through my head, I changed my mind :-)

Luckily there was a pretty lady in a Dutch magazine (Flow) who was standing in water and who caught my tangle attention. Nipa, Feba and Gneiss created an imaginary world around her and her reflexion.

Thank you for visiting my blog! You know how much I appreciate your comments!

Joey's challenge #166

We're tangling U-tangles for Joey's challenge. You see Unme in the middle, Up N Down around it and Unbatz in the background.

Joey's challenge #165

We're up to the letter T for Joey's Alphabet Challenge and I'm filling this Tile with Tamisolo, Tour and Tipz.

Diva challenge #316

Laura asks us to create our own string using stripes. I like! :-)
In my tile, I've used 6 different tangles - twice. Each tangle is represented on each side of my tile. The patterns you see, are: Lealad, Lamar, Pia, Onomato, Scallops and Merryweather.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I always love to read your comments :-)

Golden oldies

It's always nice to draw some 'good old' tangles, like Purk, Arukas, Pixioze and PomX2.

Joey's challenge #164

The S challenge of this week's Joey finish my tile starts with Sand Swirl. I added a lot of Sand and a little bit if Sevaw, which gave this result:

Diva challenge #315

Laura advises us to do a tangle study on Molygon: to spend some more time with the pattern. It's a nice tangle that I don't use very often, so I liked to get started.

It didn't turn out the way I had in my head (Molygon seems to be floating ;-) ) but I still like the way it turned out together with Yuma.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments always put a smile on my face :-)

It's a String Thing #193

Adele asked us to draw some of Lily Moon's tangles, to support her during these hard times she's going through. Of course I'm in - and I wish Lily all the strength she needs.

Joey's challenge #163

Joey's Finish my tile Alphabet Challenge has arrived at the letter R. Joey drew us Rysa on the left side and I added Reticulated, Rain Dotty and Roxi.

Diva challenge #314

This month's Use My Tangle for the Diva challenge is Scallamps. A new one to me, always nice ;-)

Above Scallamps you see Shattuck and below it a little bit Organza.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments always brighten my day :-)
