Once finished, I wasn't sure if this was the result I had in mind for this challenge. So today, I created something completely different:
Now I can't choose which one I like best. I think my mind is undulating between these two ;-)
It's always nice to take a look at the Diva's blog to see what other people created!
Beautiful tiles Ilse! Your line work is perfection and I especially love the shading on the first one. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI think both are beautiful interpretations of the challenge!
Well, they couldn't be more different, could they? But I don't think I could like one more than the other; they are both so clever in their different ways.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how different they are, yet both are really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTwo very different tiles for the same challenge; both beautifully done! I couldn't pick a favourite!
ReplyDeleteThe undulating forms in the straight line grid is very nifty indeed. I like that one best.
ReplyDeleteI like them both, but I think your second "sampler" tile is very clever. Really nice!
ReplyDeleteboth tiles are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tiles :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on both of these. Isochor is a tangle that I have not explored much. Like your highlights and pearls.
ReplyDeleteBoth are different but beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think the first tile undulates more which is not to say I don't like the second one, it's just less undulationary. (I'm pretty sure that's not a word. Spell check has certainly never heard of it). ;-) Fun.
ReplyDeletevery nice tiles! The first one is my favourite because of the contrast between straight lines and undulating lines.
ReplyDeleteI think both are wonderful! The isochor is fun because you can make is move with shading and the tile full of them is definitely fun to see. It's almost an optical illusion!
