This week, Laura challenges us to be inspired by the season. It is autumn in the Netherlands, where I live, and I love to see the leaves change their colours.
Laura created a beautiful coloured tile herself, and tells us to go where our heart takes us. Well... it took me to a tiny coloured leaf, on which I decided to tangle. I could almost call it an inchy-leaf :-) since it's only about 3 centimetres wide:
Wonderful. Unfortunately I live in the Southern hemisphere and will not be able to find an "autumn" leaf to tangle on :)
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteWell you really did set yourself a challenge didn't you and it's just lovely.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, that is beautiful. I would think it would be difficult to draw on an actual leaf.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's amazing;-)
ReplyDeleteErg mooi gedaan. Gelukkig ben je niet door het blad gegaan met de punt van de pen. Mooi!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to draw on a leaf, I know from trying how difficult that is and you have drawn such detailed tangles. I love the little bites in the leaf that some creature has made :-)
ReplyDeleteMooi om zo direct op het blad te tanglen. Ik probeerde het even, maar de pen 'wilde' niet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color and lovely tangles.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and for the lovely comment.
Oh wow. It's so small and cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised the leaf didn't break. I like the little nibble at the edge of the leaf. It gives it extra character.
What a nice little tangled leave! And the shadow is real;-)
ReplyDeleteLike! :)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of Hawaiian art that they do on leaves twice this size. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteIlse, did you really tangle right on that leaf? That is fabulous!! :) :)

Very cool, I am surprised it didn't crack up in pieces!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! :)
ReplyDeletePrachtig getangled, het moet wel heel erg priegelen geweest zijn, maar dat is heel goed gelukt :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! What a cute little leaf, with the little bite-like shapes at the outside, and the tangle patterns fit it very well. Very beautiful all together!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I love how you utilized the ragged edge to inspire your tangles.
ReplyDeleteSweet! It's just perfect. Little bitty leaf with little bitty tangles on it. Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely wee leaf!
ReplyDeleteWas it hard to tangle on a real autumn leaf? Impressive.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I like that you didn't go for a "perfect" leaf but instead used the natural state of this one.
ReplyDeleteFabulous.
