Diva's challenge #240

* Sorry about putting down the wrong link at the Diva blog... *

This week, Laura challenges us to be inspired by the season. It is autumn in the Netherlands, where I live, and I love to see the leaves change their colours.

Laura created a beautiful coloured tile herself, and tells us to go where our heart takes us. Well... it took me to a tiny coloured leaf, on which I decided to tangle. I could almost call it an inchy-leaf :-) since it's only about 3 centimetres wide:

This is the result:

Thanks for visiting my blog! Your comments are always much appreciated :-)

  1. Wonderful. Unfortunately I live in the Southern hemisphere and will not be able to find an "autumn" leaf to tangle on :)

  3. Goodness, that is beautiful. I would think it would be difficult to draw on an actual leaf.

  4. Erg mooi gedaan. Gelukkig ben je niet door het blad gegaan met de punt van de pen. Mooi!

  5. How clever to draw on a leaf, I know from trying how difficult that is and you have drawn such detailed tangles. I love the little bites in the leaf that some creature has made :-)

  6. Mooi om zo direct op het blad te tanglen. Ik probeerde het even, maar de pen 'wilde' niet.

  8. Oh wow. It's so small and cute.
I'm surprised the leaf didn't break. I like the little nibble at the edge of the leaf. It gives it extra character.

  10. This reminds me of Hawaiian art that they do on leaves twice this size. Very nice!

  13. Prachtig getangled, het moet wel heel erg priegelen geweest zijn, maar dat is heel goed gelukt :)

  14. Great idea! What a cute little leaf, with the little bite-like shapes at the outside, and the tangle patterns fit it very well. Very beautiful all together!

  19. Lovely. I like that you didn't go for a "perfect" leaf but instead used the natural state of this one.
