It's Use My Tangle Monday at the
Diva's challenge and we're using Crux. A pattern I really love to draw, and this time I wanted to do it a bit differently. So... this is the result, with a more flexible grid. Some sort of unidentified flying object ;-)
Thanks for stopping by! Comments are always read and much appreciated :-)
No unidentified flying object! A beautiful pineapple! I love how you broke out of the grid and the shading is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove how you worked off the edges. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteJean ziet er een ananas in, en ja dat zie ik er ook wel in, Leuk!
ReplyDeleteOok de losse open afwerking is prachtig!

Ooh, Ilse, this has such lovely depth! I think Jean correctly identified it too!

ReplyDeleteThat's what I call doing a tangle the way it should be done! Beautiful work. The shape you used is exquisite. Sarah
ReplyDeleteAmazing! So well done.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, great shading and detail. Like a big pineapple!
ReplyDeleteYour object would be a very pretty beetle. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteEen hele mooie frisse tile is het geworden en het speelse effect van de "krullen" is heel leuk gevonden.
ReplyDeleteMooi gedaan deze tangle; het lijkt alsof er licht komt vanuit het midden.
ReplyDeleteThe first comment got it just right: it looks like a pineapple -- and I love pineapple! Did you know pineapple juice is good for clearing up congestion? And it tastes pretty good with turmeric, thymme, and ginger in a cold-fighting tea.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the curves introduced in this graphic tangle
ReplyDeleteBeautiful happiness!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tile! It's so whimsical;-)
ReplyDeleteIlse, I like how you added a bit of light-hearted whimsy to the piece. Nicely done. Cheryl
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous tile! Wonderful depth and contrast. It reminds me of a pineapple, too!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have left the ends of the the grid open with ribbons waving. A lovely take on Crux.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I like the dimension of the tile - roundish, from small to bigger.
