Diva's challenge #282

Laura likes us to 'spill it' this week :-) 'Spill something onto your tile and then tangle it.' I liked the color of the spill to be  strong and rich, so I took some pure food color and dropped some drops on my tile. Then I took a plastic cup and used it to spread the blue ink sort of randomly.

The tangles I've used are Octoleg, Niuroda and Meringue. After some hesitation, I decided to leave the tile like this. Less is more sometimes ;-)

Thank you for stopping by! Your comments are much appreciated and always read :-)

  1. Heel, heel mooi vind ik deze tile. Die Niuroda in het midden is prachtig getekend maar ook de 2 andere tangles zijn erg mooi en maken van deze "vlek" een speciaal uniek werk!

  13. Lovely tile and a very beautiful spill! Love the idea to use food color for a rich tone. I have some food color left that I probably cannot use anymore and now I have an idea of what to do with it, thank you! :-)

  14. The intense blue is lovely. I admire your restraint. It is often so hard to know when to stop.
