Laura advises us to do a tangle study on Molygon: to spend some more time with the pattern. It's a nice tangle that I don't use very often, so I liked to get started.
It didn't turn out the way I had in my head (Molygon seems to be floating ;-) ) but I still like the way it turned out together with Yuma.
Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments always put a smile on my face :-)
Yeah - it is a mask! I can see a mouth full of teeth followed by a pair of squeezed together eyes and then on top a Mohawk style hairdo. Well done, Ilse!
I love the contrast of the dark shadow. At first I though it was a candy skull type image, but it seems to be more than that, an image that makes you want to look at it and try to figure out the patterns your mind is creating while looking at it. What can I say, I really like this tile. :D
Love the variations of fills in your Molygon!
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty cool...reminds me of a unicorn, with two smiles...(ha ha ha). FUN.
ReplyDeleteDuane.
Doet me denken aan een masker.
ReplyDeleteIk vind hem zeer geslaagd Ilse, vooral de combinatie met Yuma geeft een mooie afwerking.
Beautiful Ilse! I like the addition on Yuma. Great variations of Molygon! Wonderful balance of light and dark. :)
ReplyDeleteReally special with all those different fillers for the parts of Molygon. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLovely, lively, dancing!
ReplyDeleteNet als Mariët vind ik het wel op een masker lijken. Grappig zoals iedereen altijd zijn eigen voorstelling bedenkt. Mooi gedaan, Ilse.

ReplyDeleteSweet!
Really interesting use of both tangles, and I love all the variations in Molygon.
ReplyDeleteIt almost has a day-of-the-dead feel to it!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic Ilse! I love your fill variations 😍

ReplyDeleteLike what you came up with. My first thought was of a tribal mask.
