Diva challenge #323

A difficult challenge by Laura this week: create a tile that reflects your home. I can think of a million ideas reflecting my country - the Netherlands. The people around me make me feel at home, but I rather tangle a typical Dutch setting: a windmill and some tulips ;-)

Thank you for visiting my blog! I always love your comments :-)

  2. I love your windmill, Ilse. I did visit the Netherlands many years ago and was disappointed to not see even one windmill. Could be because they were taking us through in the dead of night in a bus? Anyway, I love your happy tile!

  9. Ilse, you have made a very beautiful and peaceful tile showing your national pride. I like the artistry in that tile and notice everything in that tile is a reminder of a peaceful world. Thank you, Ilse for visiting my blog and expressing yourself concerning my national sentiment. You are the best.

  10. A pretty and lighthearted tile that reminds me that what seems a cliche is still a fair symbol sometimes. The windmill, after all, represents the Netherlands' mastery of the elements, the tulips are a source of both beauty and pride. Lovely.
