Izzy's tile: Punzel and more

This time, Izzy inspired me to start a tile with Punzel. I think it's a great tangle and I put Flux,Tipple, Crescent Moon and Borbz around it. Izzy was very kind and didn't mind presenting it :-)

Maybe you can see his ear on the left side is torn. I'm afraid he's a little too keen defending his garden ;-)

It's a String Thing #81

We're challenged by Adele Bruno to use both Fassett and Phroz (its new sister pattern)  in 1 tile. This could be done in String #082 or in another (self created if you wish) string. I chose the last and fitted these two wonderful patterns in. This was a lovely, zen-ful challenge :-)

Joey's challenge #49

This week, Joey asked us to stack blocks of tangles. So, I did :-)

The patterns I used are: Lacy, Twile, Zonked and Villers #2.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

That's New to Me: N

Neuron is the pattern I chose as my new tangle for Suzy Mosh' challenge. I decided to also use a new String: #145 by Sandra. Like it!

I found it hard to add suitable patterns to Neuron, so I used Snowzags (gave me a sun-ray feeling) and Verve (love the movement in it!).

Diva's challenge #206

This week, Laura challenges us to try using tools or materials that we never used before. As a matter of fact, I DO have a white Sakura gelly roll pen, and I DO have black paper, but I never really used them to create a tile. I was pleased to find a white pencil for some shadowing too, so I started tangling Featherfall and really loved it. Then I wasn't sure what to put next to it. You can see what result came out of my hands, I think it's OK ;-)

Take a look at the Diva's blog to see what tools and materials the other participants used for this challenge. It's allways inspiring!

Izzy's tile: Vorago

For my non-challenge tile of this week, I chose to start with Vorago. Inside of this lovely pattern you can see Nymph, Tipple and a bit of Sunflower. Hoping for Spring to arrive soon ;-)
