Diva's Guest blogger Cris Letourneau arranged a lovely challenge, in which we were asked to use Seton. I wasn't really zen this week, so the lines aren't all as straight as I would have liked. It's allright to me, since tangling gave me the relaxation I needed.
Wat heb je dit mooi gedaan, Ilse! De schaduw in de parels is prachtig.
ReplyDeletevery nice rendition of seton - reminds me of a quilt. well done.
ReplyDeletei like the way the circlesin the centre of each square draw the eye.
ReplyDeleteNo worries. Your tile is lovely and straight lines are highly over-rated and not particularly Zen. :-)
ReplyDeletej'aime bien ce contraste.
ReplyDeleteOh this is great! You have managed contrast wonderfully! Well done.
ReplyDeleteLove your Tile, Ilse, Beautifully designed and drawn. Wonderful fills that give great tonal variations and interest in your tile. Well done.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very nice and I am sure it would not look better if all lines would be absolutely straight ;-) I like your way of tangling seton and your way of fill-in-patterns (hope, you know what I mean ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour design of Seton is very calming....love how this art form works that way. Every person's experience is for their own enjoyment. Straight or curved lines are for you to decide. Thank you for sharing this beauty.
ReplyDeleteMooi het is net alsof je door een raam naar buiten kijkt!
ReplyDeletevery nice detailed work
ReplyDeleteNice and elegant tile. Love the tiny details you entered.
ReplyDeleteHeel mooi met de parels ertussen
ReplyDeleteNice detail in embellishing Seton. Did not remind me a quilt but more like looking through lattice work at something. Is a great effect.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful balance of colour, shape, line and texture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile with wonderful details!
