Joey gave us a nice, restful challenge this week: she wants to see us use the pattern 'Chillon' on a twinchie. That's a miniature card of 5 x 5 cm. Normally, zentangle tiles are 9 x 9 cm.
This challenge was so nice and restful that I decided to make two of them :-)
I love all your variations. Pretty, with lots of interesting detail to catch the eye.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lori!
DeleteThose are both really great, but I love the top one. Looks like a little Christmas tree in there. Cute. Hope you have a good Christmas.

A christmas tree! I hadn't seen that one until you mentioned it. Now I see a Christmas tree all the time :-)
DeleteThanks for joining in Ilse! Your work always inspires me!
ReplyDeleteI think of M C Escher in the first twinchie, were you thinking the same? What a fun variation!
Hope to see more of your work in 2015,
Happy New Year!

Thank you, Joey, that's so nice to hear! I wasn't thinking of Escher, I was just 'floating away' in tangling ;-)
DeleteAll the best to you in 2015, hopefully with more great challenges!
These are really neat. Amazing how different one pattern can look.
