Laura asks us to get inspired by Beads of Courage. As I have a chronic disease myself since my 24th, I can only imagine what it feels like to go through all the hassle when you're a kid. I admire their positiveness and can only give them my heart (full of Widgets ;-) ) to stay strong. I know they will...!
ReplyDeleteIt is very attractive and I regret I cannot zoom on the drawing. Everything seems to shine in the middle of this heart!
Love your heart full of widgets!
ReplyDeleteHi Ilse, what a beautiful tile! I like it very much.

Love your beaded heart tangle !
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty Beads of Courage!! Love the heart. I too have (several) chronic illnesses since my early 20s at least - so I feel a similar way :) :)

Creative and well thought out way to address this challenge. Like the widget heart and the shading you did to achieve the heart shape.
ReplyDeleteYour tile reminds me of fancy beaded pins stuck into a pincushion! (You can tell I'm old because I remember those things...) Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the heart full of beads! And for those children receiving the beads, their hearts are full of courage too!
ReplyDeleteIlse I love your heart-----literally and in your "Beads of Courage" tile.
ReplyDeleteLove your heart! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI love the heart shape! So cool with all the beads in it!
ReplyDeleteEen prachtig hart en mooie woorden erbij!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful! So lovely idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful beads-heart! Great idea to use a heart as a string for this special challenge and wonderful filling "beads". Like it so much :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your heart full of widgets. Beautiful design concept and wonderfully drawn and shaded. Well done, Ilse.
ReplyDeleteSorry you too have to suffer, Ilse. I love your heartful of widgets. It is a very touching concept and hits the spot perfectly. Axxx
