Diva's challenge: #200!

Wow, this week the Diva posted her 200th challenge! Congratulations, Laura, and thanks for all the time and energy you put into it!

To celebrate this special moment, Laura asked us to create a monotangle that fills the whole tile (so no borders), use a GO-TO tangle and stick in the nummer 200.

One of my go-to tangles is Baton, so I chose this one - and for some reason I adore monotangling. So: this challenge was a great 'zenful' party :-)

Thank you for visiting my blog, your comments allways put a smile on my face!

  1. I love the way that you've intertwined the elements of this tangle and then shaded them so they wrap over and around each other. I'll have go root around and find "Baton"...it's not currently in my "go to" tangle assortment, but after seeing how marvelously it works, it will be. (That's not to say that when I do it, it will look as nice as this, but hope springs eternal...). Lovely work!

  7. Beautiful Tile, and it had to have been tough to draw. You were very consistent drawing Baton, creating a very uniform tone. Love the shading. Nice going.

Like your shading and your number 200 in the monotangle. Great :-)

  12. Ilse, this is lovely! Baton is one of those tangles that looks so easy, but when you start, it's difficult to keep it on track and consistent. You have done a wonderful rendition, and as you say, I'm sure the "Zen" aspect of doing this was very strong.

  13. Baton is one of those patterns I find difficult to do, so I really appreciate it when it is so well done. Love the big 200

  16. Nice use of this tangle. I agree with the comments that it is not as easy to do as it looks. Nice job of shading also.
