Diva's #201: Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day 2015

Friday, January 24, it's Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day. Since her youngest son Artoo has this rare syndrome (5.000 people on the planet live with it), the Diva asked us to use the Moebius Syndrome Foundation's logo as a string.
This way, she wants to raise awareness for the fact that this is a disorder affecting nerves, not a disease.

Such a great way to get more attention for this disorder - I'm glad to help this little bit I can. So, I tangled the logo and chose Ahh for the background:

'Ahh, it's hard to live with a chronic disorder (or disease as well, by the way...)'

and

'Ahh, life is full of nice surprises, even with a chronic disorder (or disease ;-) )'

I wish Laura and her family all the best!

P.S. I used Ahh and Copada, and another tangle I don't know the name of. Anybody? It looks like this:

My tile:

  3. Sort of looks like the other one could be a variation of Wud...A very nice combination and the lovely little "Ahh's" set it off nicely!

    1. Wud comes close, but it is another pattern step-out I've used. Still don't know which one ;-)

  6. Ahh kind of reminds me of an elegant "germie". It looks like you free handed your own moebius. I'm impressed!

  14. Mooie tile Ilse, de tangle waar je de naam niet van weet, heeft ook wel wat weg van leaflet van helen wiliams.

    1. I think it's another tangle... You can see the step-out above my tile now. Maybe it helps to see it?

  19. Very nice tile here! I have no idea what the tangle is but I certainly like it very much. Are you sure you didn't create it, thinking it was something someon had already done?
    Anyway great work!
