Joey's challenge #120

We're halfway through our circle string series at Joey's blog. She drew us a round string with four parts and likes us to include the tangle Girdy. I chose to add the pattern River, so here it is: my meandering Girdy-River :-)

Diva's Challenge #214: Earth Day

This Wednesday is Earth Day, so Laura challenged us to keep Earth in mind while tangling. She suggested we could use any shape or material we wanted, but I chose to keep it 'simple' in black and white. I hardly ever use circles as a basic string (zendala), so that was pretty new to me.

I used Inapod for (only four...) continents, River for the oceans and Quadog to represent the people on Earth. The result looks OK, although in my mind, it was gonna look more spectacular. Oh well... ;-)
