Inapod is a pretty pattern, so I thought it deserved a Barberpole frame ;-)

We’re starting with Pais for Joey’s Finish my tile challenge. Around it I drew Hamail, Tipple, Inapod, Cruffle, Munchin and some good old Zinger.

Joey drew us some Breach in the middle of a tile, and I drew a lot around it. Apparently I’m in a busy period, cause this is my second busy looking tile in 2 days ;-)

Today we’re drawing a tile in which we combine organic and straight tangles. I drew Pais, Tipple, Inapod and Jemz:

We're tangling tangles which names start with the same letter. I chose the letter i of Ilse ;-) and drew Infinitus, Inapod, Indy-rella, ING and Ixorus.

Alphabet challenge #72: B-S-I

This week's challenge of Diane and Carolien is to create a tile with patterns starting with B, S and I. The patterns I chose are Barberpole, Sprigs and Inapod. All very nice to draw!

Diva challenge #262

It's the first Monday of the month, so it's Use My Tangle (UMT) time at Laura's blog. This time we're using Fassett by Lynn Mead. A lovely tangle that I like to combine with plenty of black apparently (take a look here to look at my last Fassett tile of one year ago. Note to myselfe: use this pattern more often!).

Today I created a Duotangle of Fassett and Inapod. That was fun :-)

Zenuari day 11: Name tangle

Today we're tangling a tile with only tangles which name starts with the first letter of our name. An i in my case and I had fun with Ixorus, Inapod and Indy-rella :-)

Joey's Challenge #72

Inapod is this week's Monotangle pattern at Joey's challenge. I love Inapod, and tried to find a way to use it in different sizes. So I ended up using the tangle both as a string ánd as a filler. 

U-N-I challenge

Yesterday, I was thinking I should use Inapod again. Today, I saw the challenge of Diane & Carolien and was pleased with the coincidence: they ask us to use patterns starting with U, N and I.

The choice to use Inapod was quickly made, and I decided to put Undling and Nipa on my tile as well.

Diva's Challenge #214: Earth Day

This Wednesday is Earth Day, so Laura challenged us to keep Earth in mind while tangling. She suggested we could use any shape or material we wanted, but I chose to keep it 'simple' in black and white. I hardly ever use circles as a basic string (zendala), so that was pretty new to me.

I used Inapod for (only four...) continents, River for the oceans and Quadog to represent the people on Earth. The result looks OK, although in my mind, it was gonna look more spectacular. Oh well... ;-)

It's a String Thing #79

Adele Bruno chose string #076 for us, and some lovely patterns. I used Inapod (a favorite!), Puf and a bit of Pozer. That was fun, thank you Adele!

Diva's Challenge #195

Another guest post at Diva's blog: this week it's Sandy Hunter. She asked us to change the structure of a pattern, while still retaining its basic basic elements. So: I put Inapod in a grid and Flux in a line. That was fun to do, thank you Sandy! I'm curious to see what other people did.

Diva's weekly challenge #189

This weeks's challenge from the Diva is a UMT (Use My Tangle) and we're using Yuma by Tina-AKUA. Tina: I love this tangle! Thank you for sharing it with us. 

I decided to combine it with Inapod (a favorite of mine as well) and Striping. Quite like the result, it's always surprising to see what's growing out of your own hands :-)

Diva's Weekly Challenge #187: Blind String

This week the challenge is to draw a string with our eyes closed. I decided to try and keep the string simple - in order to get not too many tiny sections. It's very nice to discover what you end up with, after opening your eyes :-)

I used Flux, Fife, Paradox and Inapod. Not sure if Paradox fits in with the other tangles, but that's how it goes ;-)
