Joey’s challenge #188

Joey drew us a 3D triangle string and asks us to fill the tile with Frunky and whatever tangle we like. I added Lacy and Orbs-la-Dee and although the result is not really 3D, I quite like it.

Ing-start

I started this tile with drawing Ing (from top to bottom) and then I didn't know what to draw next to it. A couple of minutes later ;-) Puf, Fife, Orbs-la-Dee and Merryweather joined Ing to give me a proper zen-feeling :-)

Zenuari #9/ Diva #298

This morning I was wondering about the choice I had to make. This month, I'm participating in Anoeska's Zenuari, which means (almost) 1 tile a day. But: today Laura would be back with her Diva challenge, and today I don't have time to do two tiles.

So, I was pleasantly surprised to discover I could combine these two challenge! A labyrinth string filled with Orbs-la-Dee t would be! :-)) I added some 'Birds on a Wire', a new-to-me tangle. Thank you ladies, for challenging me this way!

I would also like to thank you, blog visitors! You're comments are always read and much appreciated :-)

TNTM #41: Z

The random letter for this week is Z, so we have to create a tile with at least one pattern that's new to us, starting with Z, for Suzy Mosh' challenge.

Unfortunately I forgot to add a tangle made by Livia Chua, the artist focus (because Z is a repeat). Mistake! There are no mistakes in zentangle, so I can still add my link in the challenge. Or can't I? This is not the mistake they mean when talking about 'there are no mistakes'...

Haha, oh well, these things happen :-) Sorry about that!
Tangling Zanella was pretty difficult, so I think I can send in my entry ;-)
The other patterns used are Tipz and Orbs-la-Dee.

Diva Challenge #229

I spent some lovely holiday time in France where we also slept one night at Le Puy du Fou in one of these marvelous tents:

You wouldn't say, but inside there's a posh hotel room ;-)

Back home, I've got time to grab my Sakura's again and check the Diva challenge. Sandy Hunter is this week's guest blogger, nice! She asks us to shift our focus to the negatieve space (the white part) of our tile. I quite like to leave negatieve space in my tiles every now and then, and I decided to put four white parts in it. I used the tangle Kiss as a string and as a backgrond filler, and put some kind of Orbs-la-Dee to it.

Stacked and Tangled #7

It's some time ago that I made a zentangle tile for Facebook's group Stacked and Tangled. So... here's a new one :-)

From top to bottom, you can see (a variation of) Orbs-la-Dee, Tearce, Owlz, Msst, Moonpie and Weave.

Joey's challenge #44

Joey's son turns 10 years OLS this week, so Joey challenges us to use string 10 and the pattern Joy.

So... here it is :-) and I wish Joey and her family a very happy birthday!

Halloween

Halloween is coming up, so Joey challenged us to tangle a witch's hat. I put some Web in the background (with a spider :-) ) and used Orbs-la-Dee, PomX2, Bask-it and some fantasy flower pattern.
