Around Oke

Oke is a beautiful pattern! Sometimes I find it hard to find patterns that go well with Oke, so this time I chose some golden oldies.

Playing with Knase

There’s a new pattern in town and it’s called... Knase! ;-) Here you see it together with Borbs, Tipple and Lealed.

Diva challenge #375: Burtz

Laura likes us to play with Burtz, a down-to-earth tangle pattern. I’ve added soms Borbz, Tipple, Fescu and a Shattuck variation.

Inktober #14: Ando

Ando is a pattern I would not quickly choose to draw, but it was a nice experience. On top of it I drew ‘Dillo and below it you see Fassett, Arukas and Tipple.

Inktober #6: Pais

Pais: a nice Inktober challenge! You see it together with Tagh, Cruffle and some good old Tipple.

Waybop it is!

A pattern I hardly ever tangle, but still love is Waybop. It needs some thinking which I don’t mind from time to time ;-)

Joey’s challenge #221

We’re starting with Pais for Joey’s Finish my tile challenge. Around it I drew Hamail, Tipple, Inapod, Cruffle, Munchin and some good old Zinger.

Joey’s challenge #219

Joey gave herselve a challenge by starting with Poke root - and me too ;-) I never know what tangles to combine it with... Today I felt like adding Bluebonnets, Henna Drum and Tipple. It was a nice and relaxing tangling experience :-)

It’s a String Thing #244

To honour all those men and wonen that gave their lives in service, Adele drew us a starry string and asked us to use Auraknot. A lovely pattern and a lovely idea so here’s my entry:

Square One: Zoya

In Facebook’s group Square One we’re focusing on Zoya. Like Crux a couple of weeks ago, I used Zoya as a firm base for the other tangles: Zedbra, Golven, Flux and Tipple.

The first Monday of April is a Use My Tangle challenge and Laura has chosen the pattern Pickpocket of Tomas Padros. A tangled I really admire, so I was pleased to discover this new tangle of him. Around it you see a giant version of Tipple ;-)

Joey’s challenge #203

String #150 is this week’s choice of Joey and she likes us to draw Eddyper. Not my favorite... When I had drawn that tangle, I thought this tile wasn’t going to be nice, but in the end I was quite happy, thanks to Gmeiss, Tipple, Chloë and Ilana ;-)

Zenuari day 11: Organic and straight

Today we’re drawing a tile in which we combine organic and straight tangles. I drew Pais, Tipple, Inapod and Jemz:

Zenuari day 6: Blind string

Anoeska asks us to draw a string with our eyes shut and the fill the sections with patterns. Like she predicted, there were a lot of little sections, which I didn’t fill up all. The tangles you see, are Drip drop, Crux, Fe-Ba, Ennies and Tipple.

Joey’s challenge #197

Joey drew us a shape. We’re to tangle inside the shape on one side and outside the shape on the other side of the line.

The result, with Tipple and Bloom, looks a bit pale to me ;-) but I like the idea.

Square One: Tipple

In the group Square One at Facebook we’re focussing on the tangle Tipple this week. A pattern one could put in almost every composition/ tile! Here I combined it with Balloya, a tangle I hardly ever draw.

It’s the first Monday of the month so Use-My-Tangle time at Laura’s blog. The tangle we’re using is Wibble ande I added Meshmerize, Tipple and Up N Down.
