It's a String Thing #125

Adele likes us to celebrate the coming new year with some bubbly tangles. A nice way to look forward to the festive day tomorrow will be, celebrating the end of 2015 and the start of 2016.

The tangles we use are Bubbles, Sprocket and Tipple.

Striping around

Striping is a tangle I quite love, because it can create a lovely 3D effect. I drew some circles and filled them just with Striping. Fun!

In the three crossing strings, you see Onamato, Jessicup and Up N Down. In the background I just drew some lines and curves ;-)

Alphabet challenge #38

Sundoo string

Sundoo is the pattern I used as a string, and I filled it with Paradox, Kozy, Jemz, Marasu, Kiss and Mr. E.

Joey's challenge #92

Today I filled Joey's gift string with some patterns: Starburst, Cracked, Heartstrings and Hibred. I imagine the gift is holding a present both for myself (new challenges by Joey in 2016) ánd for Joey herself: more entries by me in 2016 :-))

Black Mooka

I wanted to draw Auraknot and I decided to put some black Mooka around it. Never did that one in black before! To compensate the black, I drew some Tipple in it ;-)

Alphabet challenge #37: T-O-Q

Diane and Carolien challenge us to create a tile with patterns starting with T, O and Q. I chose Tizzy (new to me) and put Owlz and Quiltz behind it.

Planet Ixorus

I drew a monotangle this time: a tile with only Ixorus in it. Quite relaxing to do :-)

The tangle Crossview can be quite a challenge to draw, but it's worth the puzzling ;-)

It's a String Thing #123

Oops, I forgot to send this one to Adele...  Oh well, I had a nice time drawing it anyway ;-)

Adele liked us to use string #123 and fill it  with Daviso and Holiday Ornaments - and so I did :-)

Diva's challenge #248

Another Holiday themed string by Joey :-) Trees this time, and I filled them with the following tangles: Reticulated, Tipple, Echo and Sanibelle. 

Alphabet Challenge #36: X-P-I

This week's Alphabet challenge of Diane and Carolien features the letters X, P and I. The tangles I chose are Xyp, Punzel and Inaura.

It's a String Thing #122

For the 122nd challenge of Adele Bruno, we use string #122 and three tangles: Verdigogh, Kuke and 63Y.

I drew Verdigogh on the (main) string line and put 63Y in the circle. This way, Kuke had to be squashed in the top right corner ;-)

Joey's challenge #90

No more Alphabet Monotangle challenges by Joey... Luckily she has creative other ideas :-) so this week we're tangling a Holiday themed ZIA. Joey drew us a special string and... off I went ;-)

The tangles I used are Lealap, Twilight Zone and Ahh. 

Diva's Challenge #247

I'm in a busy period, so I was happy to be able to tangle today. The UMT of the Diva's challenge, African Artist by Tina-Akua Hunziker, was a wonderful way to relax.

Nice to be Zentangling in a warm room on a stormy Sunday :-)

Alphabet Challenge #35: K-U-C

Diane and Carolien like us to tangle a tile with patterns starting with K-U-C. I started with Coaster as a border and then drew an Uncorked butterfly in it.

K was a bit difficult, I thought this pattern of Kaffee would fit in nicely - but it appears Kaffee consists of several different patterns. I just chose the one I preferred in this tile :-)

It's a String Thing #121

Adele Bruno's challenge of this week is... to tangle a tree. Sounds like the Diva challenge ;-) but Adele specifically asked for a tree composed of Aquafleur. I think the result looks quite simple, but nice.

Zentangle surprise

I've been getting inspired by other tanglers on the internet to collect the patterns in this tile. Sorry for not knowing all the tangle's names ;-)

Joey's challenge #89

We have come to the end of Joey's Alphabet Monotangle challenge. The Z of Zinger is this week's challenge, so I drew a bunch of Zinger flowers to say: Thank you Joey for these 26 lovely challenges! I've really enjoyed it.

And now I'm very curious what we will be creating next week :-)
