Zenuari 2019 day 3: Monotangle

My monotangle for this challenge is created with Tripoli. I like it that it has many variations!

Diva’s challenge #365

Laura challenges us to draw a monotangle of the pattern Puf. It’s a lovely tangle, but I find it hard to create an interesting monotangle of it. Luckily I’m stil quite pleased with the result ;-)

Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments always put a smile on my face.

Laura asked for a Paradox monotangle, I decided to keep it plain and simple :-)

Diva challenge #345

This week, we’re creating a holiday tile for Laura’s challenge. Mine is a Baton monotangle with 3 stars. May they bring peace over the Holidays!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I wish you a Merry Christmas and a lovely 2018 :-)

It's a String Thing #213

A basic string and a lovely tangle (Fassett) together make another nice challenge by Adele!

This tile was purely meant to relax - I needed it and it worked :-)

Prestwood

I tried a Prestwood Monotangle, not sure if it's nice to look at, but it was fun to do!

Diva challenge #324

Jessica is this Summer's first guest blogger at The Diva's blog. Thank you for your challenge, Jessica!

As you might know, normally I don't 'recycle' any of my tiles to participate in a challenge. But Jessica asks for a 'Tangled Heart' and I only drew this one a couple of days ago and called it 'Zentangle love'. It just fits perfectly in this challenge, so I'm gonna make this Baton monotangle my entry :-)

Thank you for visiting my blog! You comments brighten my day :-)

It's a String Thing #200

Wow, we've reached challenge number 200 at Adele's blog! Thank you so much Adele, for your continuing enthousiasm to make us tangle :-)

Here's my entry for this week, with the new tangle C-Perf. You look at a Monotangle, because this pattern has a lot of possibilities.

It's a String Thing #196

We're doning a Monotangle this week for AdeAdele's challenge, with a pattern that is new to me: Plingh. I had a nice time discovering this organic looking pattern.

Facebook's group Square One asks us to focus on Yew-Dee and so I did :-)

Zenuari #13/ Crea-Cross #2

To be able to participate in all those challenges, I'll sometimes use 1 entry for 2 challenges. This time, I'll combine Zenuari ('Monotangle') and Crea-cross ('Frozen'), which results in a frozen Monotangle made of the tangle pattern Frost Flower. The heart shaped string is to thank Anoeska and my namesake Ilse for their challenges!

Zenuari day 12: Graphite is the new black

Anoeska likes us to us graphite as an important part of our tile, not just for shadowing. I was curious to see what happens when I use black in one part of the tile, and graphite in another part.

In the end, I believe I prefer black to darken some parts of the tile, because it looks more dramatic. Apparently I'm quite a drama Queen ;-)))

Diva challenge #284

We're doing a monotangle this week @ Laura's challenge. Nice! The tangle we use is Tripoli and I thought about tangling variations of it, but in the end I decided to just use one tanglation. This is the one I love to draw the most, so plenty of zen here :-))

Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments brighten my day :-)
