Around Oke

Oke is a beautiful pattern! Sometimes I find it hard to find patterns that go well with Oke, so this time I chose some golden oldies.

This week's theme of Adele Bruno's challenge is simplicity, so we're tangling with a simple string and the patterns Oke and Jelly Legs:

Adele is not giving us a string this time and she likes us to create a tile with W2. She mentioned the Fall Season as well and I immediately saw the pattern Oke in my head. So, I combined these 2 tangles into 1 drawing.

I got a little help from my sweet cat Izzy who suddenly decided to give head. So cute! I'll never forget, because he left a line on the right bottom side of my tile :-)

I wanted to draw Oke and apparently yesterday's Knightsbridge Monotangle was still in my fingers: I couldn't think of any other background pattern to use ;-)

Square One Focus: Squid

This week's Focus in the Facebook group Square One is Squid. My first idea was to make an underwaterworld with it, but then I realised that Squid can well be combined with Oke. So, now you look at an Oke-Squid :-)
