Joey’s challenge #222

This is a happy and a sad moment at the same time. Happy because this is the 222nd challenge of Joey and I’m glad to participate :-)

Sad because this is her last challenge... :-(

I understand you can’t be doing this forever Joey ;-) but I’ll really miss the inspiration you gave me. Thank you so much!

Around Maryhill in the middle, I drew Chloé, Flux and Henna Drum. 

S-tangles

Today I created a tile with a choice of patterns starting with the letter S: Scallops, Skelter, Skye and Sindoo. The last pattern is my favorite (out of these 4), it’s so nice to draw it!

T-tangles

Tessel (top left) is a tangle I love to draw, but always forget about. In this tile I combined it with Ticking, Tint and Tamisolo.

Square One: Amphora

We’re focussing on Amphora for Facebook’s group Square One, and I combined the pattern with Drogon, Snugz and Nzeppel.

Joey’s challenge #221

We’re starting with Pais for Joey’s Finish my tile challenge. Around it I drew Hamail, Tipple, Inapod, Cruffle, Munchin and some good old Zinger.

Square One: Kuke

Facebook’s group Square One likes us to focus on Kuke. I united it with Petal Pusher, they seem to be good friends ;-)

String Thing #247

Adele drew us a curvy capital letter D string, which I think you don’t recognize anymore ;-) after I filled it with D’rua, Dex and A-dalfa.

Joey’s challenge #220

When you look carefully ;-) you can still discover Puf in the middle, the tangle that Joey started her tile with. It might get blown away a bit by the other patterns: Lanie, Palrevo and Sindoo.

Square One: Loev

We’re focusing on the pattern Loev for Facebook’s group Square One. It’s a lovely tangle :-) and I connected it with Barberpole.

Wow, I’ve just noticed this is my 1.000th post on this blog! I surely still love tangling as much as I did when I started in 2014!

New to me tangles

Apart from Fescu, all tangles in this tile are new to me: Clem, Dayz-E Fleur, Eiffel and Heartland.

It’s a String Thing #246

Adele got inspired by Helen Williams’ String Grid - and so did I! It’s a lovely way of starting to tangle. My string grid got filled with Morning Glory, but there are plenty of other options.

Joey’s challenge #219

Joey gave herselve a challenge by starting with Poke root - and me too ;-) I never know what tangles to combine it with... Today I felt like adding Bluebonnets, Henna Drum and Tipple. It was a nice and relaxing tangling experience :-)

A good idea of Facebooks’ groep Square One: let’s focus on the pattern Chorus of Tomas Padros. I like :-)

Friday tile

I started this tile with Aquafleur and drew Jonqual, Nzeppel and...?! around it. Don’t know the name of the top left tangle  ;-)
