Sunday tile

Today, I had a nice hour or something, tangling and relaxing with Xyp, Paravan, Pia and Zinger.

Square One: Boze

For Facebook's group Square One, we focus on Boze, a new-to-me pattern. A challenging one to me ;-) and I drew Drogon and 'Dillo next to it:

For Diane & Carolien's challenge, I chose patterns I don't use very often: Fassett, Wocar and Merryweather.

It's a String Thing #168

Adele is giving us a new Cannie Corn challenge, this year with the patterns Tira, Florz and Fang.

Last year I participated at this special Cannie Corn challenge as well, you can take a look HERE to see that it was almost the opposite when it comes to the use if black and white :-) I only looked at the old tile when I had finished the new one and was quite surprised to see the difference ;-)

Joey's challenge #136

Joey returns to the 'finish my tile challenges' (yeah! ;-) ) and she started this one with a new to me tangle, Fracus, in the top left corner. It looks like a rich variation of Drupe, so I like it :-)

I wanted to connect Fracus with Crossview, and then I decided to connect more things to it: Zinger and Rixty. I finished my tile with some Tipple and Meer. 

New to me

Have you ever drawn these tangles? Ponio, Sambah and Poppet. Quite nice!

Saturday tile

Today, I've used some tangles that I don't draw very often: (O), Discolea, Fife, Hamail and Fescu.

Joey's challenge #135

Another nice challenge by Joey. She drew a string consisting of three layers of circles. We're filling these with Dicso, Drogon and Msst.

Diva's challenge #289

I've been so busy this week, that there was little time to tangle. Luckily today was a good one (tangle-wise ;-) ) so I was pleased to create my entry for the Diva challenge.

I found a yellow autumn leaf which I traced on a tile...

... and then I filled it with some tangles in and around it: Rain (it's autumn, right? ;-) ), Tipple, Shattuck and a pattern I don't know the name of. 

Going old school

It's so nice to tangle those old favorites from time to time! You can see Beelight, Crescent Moon, Fescu, Bales and Flukes.

Today's Twinchie

A small tile today if 2 x 2 inches (a twinchie) which I filled with Zag V and Inapod:

For Diane & Carolien's challenge, we're making a tile with tangles starting with E, R and # (a number). Ellish, Rixty, 1/2 orbs and 2-n-5 are the patterns I chose:

Joey's challenge #134

Joey has drawn a 'torn tile' and likes us to finish it any way we like. Nice, it's an effect I don't use very often. My tile is filled with Hexastar, Hollibaugh and Gottago.

Diva's challenge #288

I'm not a big fan of the tangle Gourdgeous, but when the Diva challenges us to use it, I will ;-) So here it is, together with Yuma and Gnarly.

Joey started her Finish my Tile challenge with the pattern Relly-Telly-One in the bottom right corner. A new tangle to me, and I wasn't sure what to combine it with. I ended up drawing Lealad, Reticulated and Eye-Wa around it (and a bit more of Relly-Telly-One ;-) )

Diva Challenge #287

We're doing a Use My Tangle at Laura's challenge, and Dreamcatcher is the lucky one ;-)

A new pattern to me, and I decided to just start and see where it would take me. I have to say it really was a lovely journey :-)

Alphabet challenge #75: Q-G-X

For Diane and Carolien's challenge we're using tangles starting with Q, G and X. I chose to use Quipple, Golven and Xyp:

Facebook's group Square One suggested us to focus on the tangle Florez. I made sure it couldn't escape ;-) and made Barberpole keep them together:
