I started this tile with Aquafleur and drew Jonqual, Nzeppel and...?! around it. Don’t know the name of the top left tangle  ;-)

Joey's challenge #177

A few days ago I came back home from a lovely holiday to Japan, so I was pleased to see that guest blogger Susan Theron drew us a J - string ;-) Of course I also love to thank Joey for all her challenges!

I filled it with Joki, Voga, Orange peel, Vortex and Jonqual - all tangles starting with J/ V/ O. 

Some golden oldies

Some patterns will always be nice to tangle. I can't fit them all in one tile, but these five are among my favorites: Jemz, Tripoli, CO2, Ixorus and Jonqual.

This is such a tile that just comes to existence without any planning whatsoever :-)

Drupe as a string

Today, I've used Drupe as a string and I filled it with several patterns. Starting top left and going clockwise, you can see Quiltz, Zedbra, Yew-dee, Striping, Keeko, Jonqual, Hibred and Hollibaugh. Which one of these is your favorite tangle?

String #199

There are almost 200 String patterns at tanglepatterns.com! Today I tried out string #199: I like it!

The tangles I used are Garlic Cloves, Huggins, Hurry, Jonqual, Nipa and a bit of Yoga. 

Zenuari ATC swap 1 + 2

Anoeska organized a swap at the end of Zenuari. Who wanted to, could participate and swap 3 ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) with fellow tanglers. How nice! I got to swap with Anoeska herself (Holland), Beatrice (Sweden) and Sue (USA).

Zenuari day 23: Duo-pencil string

Today we're drawing a string while holding two pencils in our hand. So I did :-) and I filled the tile with Heartstrings, Ixorus and Jonqual.

Zentangle mountain

Today I wanted to play with some random patterns. I took string #157 and started filling it. From bottom left to top right you can see Jonqual, Jessicup, Fandance and Zinger mixed with Fescu.

Black (and white)

Apparently, I was in a black mood today. Luckily with some white highlights ;-)

The tangles I used in string #174 are: Printemps, Kozy, Jonqual, Sand Swirl, Undu and QT. 

Square One: Jonqual

Facebook's group Square One asks us to focus on Jonqual. I added Gneiss in the top left corner. Shadowing does make a difference!

There's quite a lot of black in this tile, probably reflecting the sad day we've had, having to say goodbye to our aunt. May she rest in peace.
