Oke is a beautiful pattern! Sometimes I find it hard to find patterns that go well with Oke, so this time I chose some golden oldies.

Diva’s challenge #356

Laura asks us to draw our name and use it as a string. I tangled Keeko, Yincut and Inapod around it:

Zentangle drop

I drew a big drop and filled it with Knightsbridge. Around it, you see Xplo-zen, Hurry and Yincut.

Here you can see an Annee-crossroad, flying over Yincut, Juke and Bales :-)

Zenuari day #19: Handlettering

Handlettering: it looks so nice and it could really be something for me to do. But... I'm already hooked on zentangle and I don't have more time for creative 'expeditions'. So, it's nice to give it a try, for once ;-)

Zenuari day 2: Creative leap

We use a shoe-string today :-)

I filled it with Nipa, Onamato, Slice, Yincut and Pinwheels. 

Squill as a string

It's nice to use a tangle as a string: today I did this with Squill. It's filled with Ennies, Hibred and Yincut.

Funny landscape ;-)

Filling string #215 with 2-n-5, Yincut, Arrowheads, B'twined and Bic makes it look like a funny landscape to me ;-)

String #213

Today, I wanted to play with the new string #213, so I filled it with Yincut, Twing, Nipa and Abacus.

It's a String Thing #133

Adele Bruno gives us a very angular string (#133) and three basic tangles: Fife, Yincut and Flukes. It's always nice to go back to basics :-)

Zenuari day 20: Just grid tangles

Today, we're just using grid tangles. I decided to mix them up to create some sort of 'zentangle quilt'.

The patterns I used, are: Nvelope, Yincut, Quiltz, Ilana, Lacy, Navaho, Yew-dee and Weave.

The tangle Crossview can be quite a challenge to draw, but it's worth the puzzling ;-)

Diva's challenge #240

This week, Laura challenges us to be inspired by the season. It is autumn in the Netherlands, where I live, and I love to see the leaves change their colours.

Laura created a beautiful coloured tile herself, and tells us to go where our heart takes us. Well... it took me to a tiny coloured leaf, on which I decided to tangle. I could almost call it an inchy-leaf :-) since it's only about 3 centimetres wide:

It's a String Thing #95

We use string #096 for Adele Bruno's 95th challenge and some lovely patterns. I chose to use Bublz and a variation of the tangles Yincut and Onomato. Quite like the result: it's different!

Stacked and Tangled #1

This week, I joined the Facebook-group 'Zentangle: Stacked and Tangled'. They ask us, well, to stack and tangle :-) and so I did. Nice to learn I love stacking!
