That's New to Me #50: K

Suzy Mosh challenges us to create a tile with a pattern starting with K that's new to us, and combine it with a tangle of Margaret McKerihan. 

I chose to use Margarate's Ta-Da and put  Kitl and Kandy Ribnz (both new to me) around it. The result looks a bit strange, but I like it :-)

That's New to Me #49

Suzy Mosh is back and challenges us to fill a tile with a 'new to me' pattern starting with V and add the tangle Hitched by Heidi Sue.

For the V I chose Voga - and really liked it!

TNTM #44

In Suzy Mosh' challenge, we tangle a pattern that's new to s. This week starting with M: I chose Myko and made a variation of it. The Artist focus is Kathy Barringer, and I used her pattern Up N Down as a string. Finally I added Morse to this rather dark tile.

When I was ready to take a picture, our black and white cat Izzy decided his tail fitted in nicely :-)

After plenty of sweet cuddles, he finally let me take a proper photo ;-)

That's New to Me #43

Suzy Mosh challenges us to tangle a tile with at least one new to us pattern starting with U. I chose Unagi and added Join by the Artist Focus Elena Hadzijaneva.

That's New to Me: P

Challenge week #42 of TNTM is about tangling a pattern that's new to us starting with P. Since P is a repeat, we also have an artist focus: Sayantika Ray.

So, as new to me I chose Peaks Border and added Pots-n-Pans by Sayantika. I didn't know if I should add anything to this - and what - so I left it like this :-)

TNTM #41: Z

The random letter for this week is Z, so we have to create a tile with at least one pattern that's new to us, starting with Z, for Suzy Mosh' challenge.

Unfortunately I forgot to add a tangle made by Livia Chua, the artist focus (because Z is a repeat). Mistake! There are no mistakes in zentangle, so I can still add my link in the challenge. Or can't I? This is not the mistake they mean when talking about 'there are no mistakes'...

Haha, oh well, these things happen :-) Sorry about that!

Tangling Zanella was pretty difficult, so I think I can send in my entry ;-)

The other patterns used are Tipz and Orbs-la-Dee. 

That's New to Me: K

Suzy Mosh challenges us to use a new pattern starting with K. Because of the interesting name, I chose to tangle KauriKunda by Tina Hunziker. Luckily it was more than just an interesting name :-)

On the outside, I put some Kuke. Fun challenge!

That's New to Me: I

We have a lovely letter this week to discover a new tangle for Suzy Mosh' challenge: i :-)

I decided to discover a new tangle pattern: Infinitus by Lianne Woods. It's a nice pattern to draw and there's a lot of variations possible. So, there is another Monotangle: 

That's new to me: Z

The random letter of Suzy Mosh's challenge is Z, so I chose Zuan Shi as the New to Me pattern, and added to other Z's: Zin and Zewm. Many lines on 1 tile, but I love that ;-)

That's New to Me: T

Our random letter at Suzy Mosh' challenge is T, so I chose Ta-da as the new-to-me pattern of this week. Artist focus Sandra Strait created some lovely patterns, out of which I chose Japonica. Two Sundoo's finished my tile :-)

That's New to Me: P

Suzy Mosh asks us to tangle a 'new to me' tangle starting with P. I chose Pand  and put it in the bottom right in string #005. Around it, you see 2-N-5, Brella and Buttercup.

That's New to Me: U

Our random letter at this week's Suzy Mosh' challenge is U. There are not many. Patterns starting with U, but luckily I found one that was new to me: Unyun.

U is a repeat, so we have an Artist Focus as well: Jane Monk. I chose to use Fern and put some Florz-tiles beneath. That was fun!

That's New to Me: D

Suzy Mosh challenges us to use a tangle that's new to me (Dooleedo) and a pattern of the Artist Focus Sandy Hunter (I chose Lola). I wasn't sure what to put next to these two patterns, so I drew some small flying objects in the air ;-)

This is week #25 of Suzy Mosh' challenge! I think I have participatef in almost all of them: there's always a new pattern to discover. Thank you, Suzy!

My new F-patterns are Fürn and Flyz. They make a lovely duo ;-)

LOur random letter for week 22 at Suzy Mosh' challenge is A, and we have an Artist Focus: Margaret Bremner. She created beautiful patterns, so next to (New to Me) Avreal, I used three of her tangles: Croon, Zigzag and and variation of Pia. I had fun!

Thats's New to Me: R

Rain Dotty is a tangle that's new to me, and I combined it with Scrolled Feather by Helen Williams (love her style!). Like this, it fits perfectly for Suzy Mosh' challenge :-)
