We’re doing white on black this week for Laura’s challenge. Even though I don’t have these new white gelly roll pens, nor black tiles, I still like this change of mindset from time to time.

The patterns I stacked are Onamato, Shattuck, Kiss and some triangles.

Joey's challenge #156

Joey's 'alphabet finish my tile' challenge has arrived at the letter K. Joey started with Kiss and I put Kiasom, Kelp, Kollide, Knightsbridge and Keeko to it. That was fun :-)

Zenuari day 11: Straight

We're to draw a string with just straight lines and fill it with whatever tangle we like. I chose to use Sanibelle, Kiss, Knightsbridge and half a Zedbra ;-)

Diva's challenge #294

This challenge by Laura is all about Reticula/ Fragment, two words I hadn't heard before (in combination with zentangle). I don't have the book Zentangle Primer vol. 1 and I didn't get much wiser on internet.

So, I'm just hoping I'm doing the right thing, since I have no clue what F7, R-C3 and A22 are (to name some letters and numbers that apparently mean something ;-) )

Alphabet challenge #76: D-U-K

We're tangling patterns starting with the letters D, U and K for Diane & Carolien's challenge. I chose 'Dillo, Unyun and Kiss and it looks like...:

A nice string to fill with tangles! I used Dugwud, Eye-Wa, Keeko, Gottago and Kiss.

Sundoo string

Sundoo is the pattern I used as a string, and I filled it with Paradox, Kozy, Jemz, Marasu, Kiss and Mr. E.

Diva Challenge #229

I spent some lovely holiday time in France where we also slept one night at Le Puy du Fou in one of these marvelous tents:

Back home, I've got time to grab my Sakura's again and check the Diva challenge. Sandy Hunter is this week's guest blogger, nice! She asks us to shift our focus to the negatieve space (the white part) of our tile. I quite like to leave negatieve space in my tiles every now and then, and I decided to put four white parts in it. I used the tangle Kiss as a string and as a backgrond filler, and put some kind of Orbs-la-Dee to it.

J-K-L challenge

For this J-K-L challenge by Diane and Carolien, I chose to use Jalousie, Kiss and Lilypads (the last one was new to me).

Joey's challenge #47

Joey gave us another challenge to celebrate love. This time we use string #039 and I chose to use 3 out 4 patterns Joey suggested: Luv-A, Loveline and Kiss.

It's a String Thing #74

Three new patterns to me at the 'It's a String Thing' challenge, so I decided to keep it simple in String 074.
