I drew a big drop and filled it with Knightsbridge. Around it, you see Xplo-zen, Hurry and Yincut. 

Joey's challenge #169

We're tangling X-tangles for Joey's Finish my tile Alphabet challenge. Joey started with Xs and Orbs in the letter X. I put 4 x-patterns to it: Xav, Xyp, Xplode and Xplo-zen.

Square One: Por Fin

This week's focus of Facebook's Square One group is a new-to-me tangle: Por Fin. You see it on my tile going from bottom left to top right, combined with Tropicana and Xplo-zen.

That's New to Me: X

Suzy Mosh challenges us to find a pattern that's new to me starting with an X. Xplo-zen was the one for me ;-)

We have to combine this with one of Sue Jacob's patterns. Those are all lovely, but how to combine one with Xplo-zen? I found that quite hard to do, and in the end I chose Coil. To finish my tile, I put some Sundoo in two corners. 

Not my nicest work, but it was nice to learn two new patterns.
