Joey's challenge #169

We're tangling X-tangles for Joey's Finish my tile Alphabet challenge. Joey started with Xs and Orbs in the letter X. I put 4 x-patterns to it: Xav, Xyp, Xplode and Xplo-zen.

For Diane and Carolien's challenge we're using tangles starting with Q, G and X. I chose to use Quipple, Golven and Xyp:

Diane and Carolien ask us to create a tile with patterns starting with U, # and X. I always like this challenge, so I grabbed Unbatz, 4 Fun and Xyp and had zentangle-fun :-)

Today's prompt is to chose tangles of designers we admire. I like many people's work, but today I chose Sandy Steen Bartolomew, of whom I used a couple of my favorite patterns: Quip, Xyp, Abacus, Zander and Sporktime.

Joey's challenge #62

In Canada, they celebrateVictoria Day, a holiday originated to celebrate Queen Victoria's Birthday. This inspired Joey to challenge us to tangle a birthday card fit for a Queen.

My entry may not really be a birthday card, but it certainly has a Royal touch, don't you think? ;-)

Square One's challenge (at Facebook) was to tangle with Xyp. I put some Florz under it, just for fun ;-)

Diva's Weekly Challenge #193 : TriTangle

Holly Atwater, this weeks' guest blogger at the Diva Challenge, liked to issue a challenge of THX (thanks). Why? Beacause today is Veteran's Day in the United States and in a couple of weeks, it's Thanksgiving. In France and Belgium, today is Armistice Day, so plenty of things to commemorate.

The patterns we were to use, are Trio, Huggins and Xyp. They form a lovely TriTangle with a heart in the middle to say THANKS!
