Joey's challenge #180

Here's tile # 3 of Joey's '9 tile challenge'. This week we're using the tangle Cruffle.
Florz and Bales are connected with tile # 2 and I added some Shattuck.

I love this challenge! :-)

Joey's challenge #179

We're tangling tile 2 of 9 of Joey's weekly challenge, including the tangle Merryweather.

(A lot of) Florz and Fassett connect to tile 1 and bottom right you see Beelight.

You can see tile 1 here!

Joey's challenge #178

We're starting an exciting challenge at Joey's new blog! We're taking 9 tiles and together they form 1 square. On this big square, we draw 1 big 'border' and inside we create a large string, crossing every tile. Mine looks like this:

So, for this week's challenge we take tile nr. 1 (top left) and fill it with African Artist and whatever we want.

I chose to add Florz, Crescent Moon, Tipples and Fassett. The composition of this tile by itself looks pretty funny to me - I can't wait to connect tile 2 and 4 and... all the others :-)

It's a String Thing #168

Adele is giving us a new Cannie Corn challenge, this year with the patterns Tira, Florz and Fang.

Last year I participated at this special Cannie Corn challenge as well, you can take a look HERE to see that it was almost the opposite when it comes to the use if black and white :-) I only looked at the old tile when I had finished the new one and was quite surprised to see the difference ;-)

So, here's my entry for this year:

Diva's Challenge #281

Re-participating in the Diva's Challenge means I'm really settled home again after our lovely holiday in the Southern States of the USA :-) I hope you've had a nice summer too, up to now!

Laura likes us to study the tangle ING. One of my favorite patterns, but I had never made a circle with it. So I gave it a try and put some Florz in the middle.

Thank you for passing by! Your comments are always read and much appreciated :-)

Diva's challenge #273

What to do wit this week's Diva challenge... It took me some time to go back into my books with old tiles, to find one that I would like to remix.

In the end, I found a tile I made in September 2014. This was the old tile (with my old signature ;-) ):

And this is my Remix, I started all over again to do it just a bit differently, and to add Florz to Quib and ING :-)

Joey's challenge #117

Joey made us another circular string, this time with 3 smaller circles inside. The pattern to include is Socc (new to me) and I added some Florz. Real zentangle relax-time :-)

That's New to Me: U

Our random letter at this week's Suzy Mosh' challenge is U. There are not many. Patterns starting with U, but luckily I found one that was new to me: Unyun.

U is a repeat, so we have an Artist Focus as well: Jane Monk. I chose to use Fern and put some Florz-tiles beneath. That was fun!

Diva's Challenge #227

Lee Darter is this week's guest blogger at the Diva's Challenge. She asks us to create a Circus tile, using Cack, Tripoli and one more tangle, choosing between Florz, Linq and Fescu. I used the last two recently, so Florz is my third tangle.

Somehow, I like 'tidy' tiles ;-) so it was a real challenge to me how to put these three tangles in one tile. Below, you see the result. You might notice I used Florz to give my Circus Tent a roof, it's the world upside down :-)

Thanks for visiting my blog! Your comments are much appreciated.

Diva's challenge #209: Green!

This week, Laura gives us a holiday themed challenge because of St. Patrick's day. This means were to green up our tile. I wanted to use different colours of green and ended up with this tile. Quite like it, even though I'm not sure what pattern I used (stripy Florz?).

Florz and more

I felt like just tangling around and then this appeared on my tile. Apart from Florz, I don't even know what tangles I used ;-)

That's New to Me: M

Suzy Mosh asks us to use at least one new pattern starting with the letter M. I grabbed String 124 and chose to use Munchin (new), Morse (I knew Hollibaugh, but not this variation) and Florz (well-known :-) ).

Square One: Xyp

Square One's challenge (at Facebook) was to tangle with Xyp. I put some Florz under it, just for fun ;-)
