Rediscovering patterns

After a long time of doing other things, I finally have time to rediscover all those pretty zentangle patterns. Glad to be back! :-)

Inktober #11: Copada

Copada, the pattern of Inktober day 11, turned out surprisingly nice. Around it you see Borbz and Crescent Moon.

Here he’s in the middle of Chillon, Borbz and Bloom. 

Square One: Bran

For Facebook’s group Square One we’re focussing on Bran, a new-to-me pattern. Above it I drew Onba (also new to me) and Crescent Moon.

Diva Challenge #365

Yeah, Laura is back after a well deserved Summer break! I’m happy, because her challenges are always inspiring. Her Back to Basics challenge is just the right thing to re-start. Thank you, Laura! Also for making me reconnect with my zentangle-colleagues, who I’ve missed too the last months. Looking forward seeing their work as well!

Back to Basics means tangling good old patterns: Hollibaugh, Crescent Moon, Keeko and Printemps.

Diva’s challenge #364

Laura likes us to do a remake of a classic: remake one of our favorite tiles. I’ve got so many different tiles, that I decided to redo my very first entry of a challenge: my first participation in the Diva challenge #174!

Superimposing Strings was the theme back in 2014, and this time I chose to superimpose strings #020 and #040. I filled these with a lot of patterns: Keeko, Crescent Moon, Fe-Ba, Garlic Cloves, Fandance, 2-n-5, 63Y, Bloom, Carry Leaf and C-stem. 

Square One: Shard

For Facebook’s group Square One we focus at the tangle Shard. I combined it with Crescent Moon, which looks a bit busy to me now ;-)

A lot of black - and white.

Sounds like zentangle ;-)

The tangles I drew are Footlights, Crescent Moon, Beelight and Jemz. 

Springtime?

I’d love Spring to arrive, but I’m afraid I’m too impatient ;-)

I tangled Ojo, Crescent Moon, Merryweather, Munchin and Lenche.

Today Ixorus appeared on my tile, together with Crescent Moon :-)

Tangling to relax

Sometimes relaxing is the main goal in tangling :-)

This time I relaxed with Punzel, Crescent Moon, Patience, Coaster and Fandance.

Square One at Facebook likes us to focus on Zari. So I did, under some Crescent Moonlight ;-)

Diva challenge #334

This week, Laura likes us to create a tile with 'crazy 'Nzeppel' like Molly Hollibaugh. I love that pattern, so off I went! ;-)

I started with 'Nzeppel in the middle and drew Crescent Moon, Diva Dance and a 'caged egg' around it.

We've arrived at tile #4 of Joey's 9 tile challenge! This week, we're drawing Breach. Around is you see Crescent Moon, Tipple, Fassett, Kiasom, C-Wing and a tiny bit of Keeko.

As you can see here, I couldn't put my pen down when I was drawing Kiasom ;-)
