Joey’s challenge #214

Joey created a starting tile with Spoken in the middle. I  filled it with Mack, Shattuck, Sand Swirl and... a tangle Idon’t know the name of.

Stormy wheather

I wanted to try out the new-to-me pattern Flevo, and somehow this tile ended up like something that reminded me of stormy weather ;-)

You see Flevo combined with Rain, Shattuck and Sand Swirl. 

Sand Swirl setting

Sand Swirl is a pattern I love, but it's also quite a difficult one to me because of all these parallel curved lines. I like the result though!

Joey's challenge #164

The S challenge of this week's Joey finish my tile starts with Sand Swirl. I added a lot of Sand and a little bit if Sevaw, which gave this result:

Scotland inspired me for this landscape tile with Seawave, Scallops, Sand Swirl and Rain :-)

It's a String Thing #143

The string we use in this challenge by Adele is inspired by the front door of the Art House, where this week the Tickled To Tangle Art Show opened. I hope it will be a great Art Show!

We are to fill this string with Sand Swirl, Swarm, N'Zeppel and Tipple and this is my result:

Zenuari day 15: Black out

Today's prompt asks us to 'black out' a part of the tile. I did so by using black watercolour, to create a string,and then I filled up the tile with Sand Swirl, Tipple and Tour.

Apparently, I was in a black mood today. Luckily with some white highlights ;-)

The tangles I used in string #174 are: Printemps, Kozy, Jonqual, Sand Swirl, Undu and QT. 

Stacked and Tangled #6

It's still pretty hot outside in Holland, so I spent this afternoon inside to stay a bit cooler than I would have been outside. Good reason to stack and tangle :-)

The patterns I used, from top right to let, are: Flying Geese, Nzeppel, Rain, Heartline, Sand swirl and Fleuri.
