Square One: MySwing

Facebook’s group Square One likes us to focus on MySwing, a pattern I don’t draw very often. It’s a nice One though! I surrounded it with Mooka, Diva Dance and Fandance. A little party ;-)

Joey’s challenge #209

We’ve already arrived at the last ‘Finish my tile - Ribbons and Curls challenge’ by Joey. I’ve really enjoyed these challenges, so thank you, Joey!

This week we’re starting with Diva Dance. I decided to mix some Zinger through it and draw Sanibelle and Fescu below it.

Thanks for visiting my blog, your comments always brighten my day!

Joey’s challenge #189

Another 3D string by Joey. Shevsuggested Diva Dance, but somehow Tripoli turned up and decided to take up almost all of the attention. Funny, cause it’s a pattern I find hard to do ;-)

Joey's challenge 187

Unfortunately ;-) we're finished with drawing our 9 tiles-mosaic. Luckily Joey gives us new inspiration :-) We will be tangling 3D shaped strings. This first one has to contain Betweed - and whatever tangle we like.

As you can see I added Zonked, Diva Dance and Hollibaugh. It was fun!

Diva challenge #334

This week, Laura likes us to create a tile with 'crazy 'Nzeppel' like Molly Hollibaugh. I love that pattern, so off I went! ;-)

I started with 'Nzeppel in the middle and drew Crescent Moon, Diva Dance and a 'caged egg' around it.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments always put a smile on my face :-)

Diva challenge #328

I'm back from a lovely holiday in Japan. Such a beautiful country with lovely people!

Now I'm back home in the cold and wet Netherlands (despite Summer), so I'm happy to participate in the Diva's challenge again. Suzanne Fluhr is this week's guest blogger and she likes us to use Aloha. A great pattern! I added some Diva Dance and black pearls.

Thank you for visiting my blog! You're comments always make me happy :-)

Crossview as a string

I drew Crossview and used it as a string. The patterns I used to fill this string are Diva Dance, Dugwud, Jemz, Fandance and Keeko.

Square One: Y-ful Power

Can you still discover Y-ful Power in this tile? ;-)
Take a look at Facebook's group Square One to see other creations with this tangle.

Diva challenge #301

We're doing a DuoTangle for the Diva challenge this week and we're using Paradox and Diva Dance. An inspiring combination!

Thank you for visiting my blog, you're comments are always much appreciated :-)

Zenuari #20/ Diva #300!

Wow, 300 weekly challenges by The Diva! Congratulations and many thanks, Laura.

January appears to be a busy month to me, which means I'm quite behind when it comes to the Zenuari challenges. So again, I combined Laura and Anoeska ;-) which means I've been tangling the Moebius Syndrome Foundation's logo as my string (Laura) on a 3Z tile (Anoeska) on a purple background (Laura).

Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments always make me happy :-)

Playing with Jonqual and Diva Dance

This is such a tile that just comes to existence without any planning whatsoever :-)

Joey's challenge #132

Joey has drawn a wobbly stretch down the middle of her tile and filled it with the lovely pattern Diva Dance. I finished the tile with Crescent Moon, Ixorus and Hypnotic.

Thank you Joey, for your great challenges!

Joey's challenge #110

Roman Numeral X! Joey likes us to fill the 4 spaces the string offers with 5 tangles. A nice challenge to use them all 5 :-)

It's a String Thing #135

We're using St. Patrick's Day String for Adele Bruno's challenge, together with the pattern Lucky. And: I've added a bit of Diva Dance ;-)

Diva #249 meets Zenuari day 4

Participating in Anoeska's Zenuari means that I am tangling every day. This is fun (!) but I also like to participate in some challenges, like the one from Laura, 'the Diva'. So: I tried to combine the prompt of Anoeska (use a tangle as a frame) with Laura's challenge (make a duotangle with Diva Dance and Auraknot).

Since we're celebrating The Diva challenge's 5th Birthday (hurray, congratulations Laura, and many thanks!) I decided to draw Diva Dance stage curtains (as a frame) and put (L)auraknot as a shining star on stage :-)

Krli-Qs string

Today I used the beautiful pattern Krli-Qs as some kind of string. Around it, you can see Crescent Moon, Tipple, Diva Dance, Yah and Reticulated. I'm quite pleased with the result :-)

Diva challenge #242

Laura challenges us to use the new official tangle Gourdgeous. When I saw this pattern in the Zentangle HQ newsletter, I wasn't sure what to do with it. So: it was a good thing Laura made me think about it and just try and let it enter in a tile.

I ended up combining it with Diva Dance, Bales and Arukas. Not sure if I will use Gourdgeous very often, but it was nice to give it a try.

Thanks for visiting my blog :-)

Square One Focus: Diva Dance

Square One (a Facebook-group) asked us to focus on Diva Dance. I made this tile yesterday and was very much inspired by the weather outside, so I created a Diva Rain Dance tile :-)

Diva's challenge #211: Flux

Laura is busy with 1 of her little boys in hospital (take care you all!), so she quickly combined this week's challenge to a pattern that is shared in the newest zentangle newsletter: Flux.

I love Flux and put it in String #034. That string reminds me of a tulip, and that's what I would like to give to Laura and her family: happy flowers to get better soon! It seemed the right thjing to do to put Diva Dance next to Flux ;-)
