Joey’s challenge 212

This week Joey drew us Relly Telly One for her Finish My Tile front and center challenge.

Very soon after tangling Relly Telly One in the centre of my tile, all kinds of things happened and all of a sudden I was looking at some sort of a quilt. It just happened ;-)

The tangles I’ve added are Bugle, Buttercup and CC. 

Auraknot rules ;-)

From time to tile I just have to draw Auraknot ;-) This time together with Buttercup, Crescent Moon,, Borbz, Beelight and Eye-wa.

How nice to participate in a guest challenge by Michele, thank you for introducing me to the Rope String! I like this kind of thing and filled it with Keeko, Verve, Shattuck, Buttercup, Swarm and Up N Down. 

Joey's challenge #131

This week's 'Finish my tile' challenge of Joey starts with Buttercup in the top right corner. A lovely pattern! I added some Tipple, Chillon and Double 8's to it:

Flux as a string

Today I filled a Flux-shaped string with three patterns: Pollen, Emilie and Buttercup. Love that last tangle!

Old in new

Today I chose to use the new string #201 and fill it with some 'good old' basic tangles. Always nice and relaxing to do :-)

The patterns I used are (top right, going clockwise): Buttercup, Weave, Kaleido, Yawn, Crossroads, Ennies and Printemps. 

Joey's challenge #103

We've arrived at Roman Numeral III at Joey's challenge. She drew a lovely #3 string with a bit of a wave effect and likes us to use Buttercup, Fescu and Tipple. So... here it is :-)

P.S. When I was finished, I looked at my tile and saw something that reminded me more of some kind of sign of the number 4 instead of 3. Must be the way I composed it ;-)

Now on to the challenge of this week: use the tangle Cayke. I hadn't used it in a while, so I tangled it on quite a big part of my tile :-)

Bigger is not easier

The lesson I learned today: drawing patterns in a bigger size (on a normal sized tile) is definitely not easier :-) but still fun to do :-)

Diva's Challenge #236

This week, Laura challenges us to tangle on something unexpected, something you wouldn't normally tangle on. She used an old map, and had the highways as a string. Nice, I would have liked to use an old map as well, but I didn't want to copy Laura's idea ;-)

So, being Dutch and being used to see cows (black and white!) In the meadows, I chose to tangle on a postcard with a cow on it, after I had cut it in the right size:

When I started tangling, I noticed the card was quite smooth, it had a very tiny plastified layer. This made tangling on it pretty hard, because the ink disappeared sometimes and I couldn't really get grip on the paper. 

But hey: that's what a challenge is all about: challenges! :-)

That's New to Me: P

Suzy Mosh asks us to tangle a 'new to me' tangle starting with P. I chose Pand  and put it in the bottom right in string #005. Around it, you see 2-N-5, Brella and Buttercup.

Square One: Well

At Facebook's Square One challenge we're asked to use Well. I love it, it has so many possibilities! Today, I combine it with Chillon and Buttercup. Great zen-feeling :-)
