Tangletime

Somehow Crescent Moon is one of my favourites :-)
Here he’s in the middle of Chillon, Borbz and Bloom.

Joey’s challenge #200

Congratulations with 200 wonderful challenges, Joey!

About two weeks ago, my husband ended up in hospital unexpectately :-( He’s still there, getting better a bit every day. We’ve had two heavy weeks in which there really was no time for tangling.

So, I’m glad today I could pick up my pens to create an entry for Joey’s 200th! She chose string #165 for us and the pattern Exeter. You see that one in the middle and Chillon and Crux around it. Glad to be back :-)

Zenuari day 3: Weighted lines

We’re creating weighted lines to add contrast and interest. Nice prompt! The tangles I’ve used are Bales, Flux, Fassett, Chillon and Shattuck.

Diva challenge #323

A difficult challenge by Laura this week: create a tile that reflects your home. I can think of a million ideas reflecting my country - the Netherlands. The people around me make me feel at home, but I rather tangle a typical Dutch setting: a windmill and some tulips ;-)

Thank you for visiting my blog! I always love your comments :-)

Joey's challenge #131

This week's 'Finish my tile' challenge of Joey starts with Buttercup in the top right corner. A lovely pattern! I added some Tipple, Chillon and Double 8's to it:

It's a String Thing #139

Adele is asking us to use string #139 and fill it with B-Twixt (new tangle, top left), Tagh and Chillon. This is what I saw when I was finished :-)

Joey's challenge #96

Another musical challenge by Joey. To answer her question: I either play music while tangling, or I'm quiet with no music nor humming a tune out loud or in my head. It's one or the other with me ;-)

This is my tile with Joey's 'natural' string, filled with Chillon.

Zenuari day 5: Tango

Today's prompt is to let tangles 'tango' together: let them melt from one into another.

Out of my Chillon ball you can see Ojo and Rain coming to life ;-)

Joey's challenge #62

In Canada, they celebrateVictoria Day, a holiday originated to celebrate Queen Victoria's Birthday. This inspired Joey to challenge us to tangle a birthday card fit for a Queen.

My entry may not really be a birthday card, but it certainly has a Royal touch, don't you think? ;-)

Diva's challenge #213: Stencils

This week's Diva Challenge is to find interesting objects that can create a special string. Somewhere in the back of my cupboard, I managed to find stencils for kids (there's only a part of the patterns on the photo):

I decided to use the top of the tree as a cloud and put a little sun to it:

And then I filled the strings with Chakra, Spokes, Chillon and Keeko. That was fun!

Thanks for visiting my blog; your comments are much appreciated :-)

That's New to Me: Q

Our random letter for this week is Q. I chose string #104 and the pattern QT. To this, I added other grid based patterns to it: Beelight, Chillon and Dugwood.

You can see the results of other tanglers at Suzy Mosh's blog

Square One: Well

At Facebook's Square One challenge we're asked to use Well. I love it, it has so many possibilities! Today, I combine it with Chillon and Buttercup. Great zen-feeling :-)

Joey's #40: chillon on a twinchie

Joey gave us a nice, restful challenge this week: she wants to see us use the pattern 'Chillon' on a twinchie. That's a miniature card of 5 x 5 cm. Normally, zentangle tiles are 9 x 9 cm.

This challenge was so nice and restful that I decided to make two of them :-)
