Diva challenge #333

A lovely guest post by Juliette and Kellie at the Diva blog! They like us to identify a tangle or 2 that feel cozy. Summer is changing into Autumn ;-)

The ladies suggested 4 tangles and I picked the two that were most cosy to me. Marasu of course (no doubt about that one!) and a variation of Ennies filled up my tile cozily ;-)

I drew a Marasu frame and put Aura-Leah and Footlites in it :-)

Marasu is a pattern I always love to draw. Here I combined it with Molygon, Shattuck and Fife.

Our focus tangle Square One (@ Facebook) is Joki. I had forgotten how much I love this tangle!

Joey's challenge #158

This week we're tangling a letter M tile and tangles. Joey started with Mi2 on the right side and I added Marasu and Munchin.

The Duo patterns of this week are Marasu (love that one!) and Molygon (which is pretty nice too).

Zen...

I started this tile by tangling Annee, drew Bales and Squill right from it and ended it with some Marasu on the left. This was zen... :-)

Marasu Friday

Today I wanted to do something with Marasu. Love that pattern! In the background I drew N'Zeppel and Caught - and time flew ;-)

Zenuari day 31: Your favorite

To finish Zenuari, we're making a tile with our favorite tangles, prompts, pens etc.

I made a combination of the prompts 'Tango' and 'Organic' and used Marasu becoming Btl Joos, next to Flux and Pais. A Sakura Micron fineliner is my alltime favorite pen!

Sundoo string

Sundoo is the pattern I used as a string, and I filled it with Paradox, Kozy, Jemz, Marasu, Kiss and Mr. E.

Diva Challenge #243

Like Laura already mentioned: this week's challenge is harder than it looks. When you have to leave 60-70% of the tile blank, it's even more important than normal to really think about a striking composition. It's a real challenge :-) to create something interesting.

Since you're quickly finished drawing this way :-) I decided to try three versions. The first one shows Tootle in white on black:

On the second tile, I put Mak-rah-mee and Abacus together:

Finally I chose to draw Marasu inside a little border frame:

I'm not sure which one is my favorite. Do you have one?

Diva Challenge #235

This week, Laura the Diva challenges us to draw stripes on our tile and use them as a string. I like :-)

The patterns I used are Riverstones, Twile, 100, Hibred, Marasu, Keeko, Yew-Dee, Onamato and Meer. That was fun!

Diane & Carolien challenge us to make a tile with patterns starting with the letters M, N and O. My choices: Marasu, Nymph and Oolo, three patterns I always love to tangle :-)

LLike I had expected, the Valentine theme continues in our challenges ;-) This one's for the Diva.

Recently Michele Wynne used a pattern that was new to me and that I wanted to try: Marasu. I love it! Some Printemps and a bit of red completed this Valentangle.
