Rediscovering patterns

After a long time of doing other things, I finally have time to rediscover all those pretty zentangle patterns. Glad to be back! :-)

Inktober #9: Fe-Ba

On day 9 of Square One’s Inktober, we’re drawing Fe-Ba. Around it, you see Lamar and Henna Drum.

Diva’s challenge #364

Laura likes us to do a remake of a classic: remake one of our favorite tiles. I’ve got so many different tiles, that I decided to redo my very first entry of a challenge: my first participation in the Diva challenge #174!

Superimposing Strings was the theme back in 2014, and this time I chose to superimpose strings #020 and #040. I filled these with a lot of patterns: Keeko, Crescent Moon, Fe-Ba, Garlic Cloves, Fandance, 2-n-5, 63Y, Bloom, Carry Leaf and C-stem.

This tile started with Fandango and below it, I drew Fe-Ba and Fiore:

Zenuari day 6: Blind string

Anoeska asks us to draw a string with our eyes shut and the fill the sections with patterns. Like she predicted, there were a lot of little sections, which I didn’t fill up all. The tangles you see, are Drip drop, Crux, Fe-Ba, Ennies and Tipple.

B-D-F-H tile

I started this tile with Bala, then added Drupe, Fe-Ba and Hexastar.

This came out of this little experiment ;-)

Zenuari day 17: Kitchen string

Our mission is to find some kitchen 'clutter' that we can use to trace the shape of with pencil, to create a string. Funny idea!

I found an travel opener for beer bottels (I don't even like beer! ;-) ) in my drawer, which formed a great string. The patterns I've used are Footlights, Fe-Ba and Tipple. 

Joey's challenge #127

Joey drew us a new 'finish my tile', this time with the tangle Sparkle. I finished it with Gottago, Fescu and Fe-Ba. The last one was a real challenge, because I started drawing it too small ;-)

Practising the tangle Organic

I wanted to practice the pattern 'Organic' (in the middle) and somehow this is the result. I had imagined another composition, but this one's fine too :-)

String #196

From time to time, I like to try out new strings that appear at www.tanglepatterns.com. So today, I chose to take string #196 and I filled it with Fe-ba, Gottago and Tipple. That was a relaxing afternoon :-)
